Macy's Celebrates Pride DisplayMacy's/Boston Pride
As part of 2007's GLBT Pride celebration, Macy's ran this series of window displays in flagship stores in major cities nationwide. The Boston Pride Committee was in charge of the design of the window display, and entrusted Too Fabulous for Words with the creation of the image.
We settled on the iconic rainbow as the basis for the image and superimposed two hands holding. The intention was that they could be the hands of any two people in the world — gay, straight, male or female — as a response to the 2007 International Pride theme: "United for Equality."
